A Prayer Request for our Family

by | May 24, 2018 | Uncategorized | 34 comments

We’re facing a family challenge, and I’d love to have your prayers, and for you to know why I might not be around the blog as much as I had hoped to be. But then again maybe I will, I just don’t know.

Please click here to read the explanation.

And thank you for all your love and support!

You will all be in my prayers.

When I saw people asking for prayers for a father of nine with melanoma I kind of thought maybe it was your husband – praying for your family and so encouraged by your family's faithfulness and hope. <3

Blessed Solanus Casey….this is the miracle we need. Please bless this wonderful family man with healing and strength if it be the will of God. Through the intercession of our beautiful lady, MARY, we ask for you to intercede and provide the miracle needed. Amen

I read this when you posted but couldn't reply at the time. I'm hyperventilating for you guys and all that this entails for you, I know you know youve got a long road ahead, but your attitude seems just amazing, and so does his judging by his blog anyway, which I did enjoy reading. Lots of prayers and love as you all commence to kicking cancer's butt again!

Praying here too! I'm so very sorry you're all going through this. It is not easy and can be so very scary, but He guides us through these awful times. I don't know if you remember my daughter, Cristina (former CTK & DM), but she has been fighting her cancer and likely will be the rest of her life, so I understand what you're going through. She learned a lot of tips in helping to deal with chemo side effects, so if there's anything we can share just let me know. If you'd like to reach me, just let Monica G. know & she can share my contact info. Please know that my family will be praying for your husband and all of you until we hear he is healed!
    God bless,
    Kathy Hernandez

Lifting up prayers for your entire family. May your eyes of faith embrace each and every grace that God will give to you throughout this journey. His love is steadfast, and he will be holding your hand through it all.

Hi! I’m Kendra.

For twenty years now, I’ve been using food, prayer, and conversation based around the liturgical calendar to share the lives of the saints and the beautiful truths and traditions of our Catholic faith. My own ten children, our friends and neighbors, and people just like you have been on this journey with me.

If you’d like to learn more about what Catholics believe and why, and to be inspired by saints from every era all over the world, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with the prospect of how to teach your kids about the faith in a way that’s true, engaging, and lasts a lifetime, we can help!
